Abortion is a topic that has people in the United States split in half. this is so because of the clashing of opinions on what is based to be "correct". Some people feel that abortion goes against the bible and that it's a from of murder. While others think that abortion is necessary at times and that it can be justified by economic situations. this is a debate that has come from the past all the way to the present because it is still a very controversial issue. i think this has remained this way because people refuse to be open about things that affect our lives, I'm not saying its OK to kill an innocent human being but there are things like the economic stability and the ability to care for the child have to come into consideration. Once you have a child it's your responsibility to provide for him or her, the government is not going to give you all the means for taking care of your baby. That's why i feel that abortion is truly your choice and that you have to have true reason to feel that an abortion is necessary.

governmental control

I have recently heard that the government is trying to establish an amendment that does not let a woman's health insurance cover an abortion. I think that that is taking power away from women because an abortion is not like buying a pair of sneakers. An abortion when you look at it is a very pricey thing. This makes me come to the conclusion that the government is trying to suppress women even more and trying to limit their rights. It's not like they haven't done that enough over our nations history. To me this is another form of control by the government and i think that this amendment should not even be considered because for some insurance is the only option they have when its comes to abortion.

Roe vs Wade

This issue of abortion became known on a large scale basis by people when the court case Roe vs Wade which established the right for women to able to decide what is right for herself even if that meant having an abortion. This court case lead the way for how controversial the idea of abortion is. I think this happened because abortion was a topic that was kept behind closed doors and this helped people face that this is something that needs to acknowledged. The thinking of whether a woman can be viewed as a murderer because of the fact that they are choosing to kill something that is alive even though a child is not considered alive until it takes it's first breath has given this topic a very bad overview. Many people have mixed opinions but i feel that abortion should be done in the best interest of the child because a woman has to think about how to take care of a child and if they can economically,mentally and physically.

intro

The issue that i chose to blog about is abortion. i chose this issue because it is an issue that people have alot say about but its not really spoken about out loud. people usually associate an abortion with such a negative view but when you really look at it it's not. i say this because people do abortion fro many different reasons. the only reason that i dont agree an abortion should be done if the woman considers her baby a mistake.

I think that an abortion can only be justified by a good reason. some of these reasons include not being financially stable, your child being a mistake does not count because a child is never a mistake. a woman knows that are many alternatives of protection to prevent pregnancy so they should use it. but i also know that some women are not able to get their hands on the resources that help prevent pregnancy.

An abortion should be done inorder to prevent children from being bought in to a world of suffering and pain.instead of this they should be put laid to rest. there are enough children on this world that are going through things the shouldnt be going through. an example of this is the children that are in third world countries that are shown on televsion and are asking for poeple like us to donate money inorder to help them. i find watching this childrens faces heartbreaking and i rather them not be born at all than having to suffer the way they do.
